Rates and Insurance:
Although I do not directly accept insurance, I am happy to provide you with a Superbill that you will submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Every insurance company is different, so I encourage you to call directly and ask what your Out of Network Benefits are for mental health services.
My fee for individual, family, or couples therapy is $225 per 45-50 minute session. Longer sessions are available upon request. I accept cash, check, and most major credit cards as payment.
Additionally, I am a firm believer that anyone seeking therapy should be able to access it with minimal barriers, therefore I am happy to help connect you to a therapist that can provide a sliding scale. Please reach out for more information on this.
And if for whatever reason I am not the right therapist for you, I am happy to help you locate a therapist that better fits your needs (i.e. is in network with your insurance, can meet your financial needs better, has a specialization that meets what you are looking for, etc.).

My name is Alex and I have a private practice in Westlake Village, CA. I graduated with my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from USC in 2012 and have been a licensed therapist since 2015. Additionally I am certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). I have been working in the Conejo Valley supporting individuals and families in various capacities over the last decade. I was also raised in Thousand Oaks and have a passion for giving back to the community that helped raise me. I am bilingual and bi-cultural and offer services in both English and Spanish. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked in community mental health, local schools, and treatment programs helping kids of all ages and their families. I love to work with teens, adults, and families that are faced with various challenges and are looking to learn about themselves and how to better their lives. As a mom still trying to figure it all out, I have specialized training and an interest in working with those trying to conceive, pregnant woman, and new moms and their partners transitioning into the wild ride that is parenthood. Also, having gone through some challenges as a teen and young adult myself, I utilize both my personal and professional experience to help you work towards personal healing and growth. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and believe in fighting for social justice and the human dignity of every individual. I specialize in treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, parenting, perinatal mental health, and various life transitions. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients in order to reach their therapy goals, so I will always take your lead. I mean, you are the expert in your own life! I also use humor, warmth, and a direct approach in my work, so if that's your style, I think we'll click. It takes courage to reach out for support, and I thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me and the work that I do. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
